Scraping sound up front-wheel bearing?
I decided to start a new thread about the scraping sound that was attributed to the pinion gear in another thread posted by BolderX. I had , at first, a loud scraping sound like an exagerated brake wear indicator. It has diminished in the last couple of hundred miles. However, I just discovered that there is oil leaking from the axle onto the inside of the right front wheel rim. I have less than 3000 miles-all on the road. I made a service appointment. But I wonder of anyone else has seen this.
