I am pretty sure that the pinstripe is something added by the dealership so they can charge you for "custom" pin stripes. Mine are silver on redrock. I would have preferred not to have them but they dont bother me that much. Straight pinstripes are not hard to do. they come in a roll and are sticky like tape. You could remove them altogether or get the color you want at the auto parts store and do it yourself.
