Mine were graying out and I started shooting armor all on them...let it soak in and it restores the black color...you have to do this every couple of weeks depending on exposure it seems...the gray will always creep back!

just like in my moustache, ( i keep armoralling that but it just smells funky now.)

I actually didnt notice it until the other day when i stopped with my girly Sahara at Starbucks on my way to the mall.

I guess it doesnt bother me much, blends in with the silver? *L* I'll try to get them black again, but it's so low on my priority list, i'll probably need a ne wengine before i get to that.

Default Sahara Difference

The 18 inch Rims and Bridgestones are only on the sahara. I believe the push button start is standard on the Sahara as well.

Default How are you configuring 2009 models on Jeep's website?

All I can configure on the US jeep website is 2008 models. I just tried again and I don't see any options at all to configure a 2009 model. How are you configuring '09 models?

In 07 when I got mine the only option you got standard on a sahara that I didn't get are as follows:

17 or 18 inch rims: I got the 17's and they are expensive enough. now way would I get the 18's.

Painted Flares: Already stated that I didn't want that either. No easy to nick and scratch.

Yes Essential seats: I prefer to just get cheap seat covers and toss them every couple of years when they start to look nasty. I also will just throw them in the washing machine if they are really dirty after wheeling.

Sirius Radio: Don't need that either. Ragular radio or CD's work for me.

And the best part was I got my X for just over a grand less than an identical Sahara with the above options. Now way are those worth another eleven hundred dollars.

I am not trying to Knock Sahara's I just don't like the attitude that some have been portaying that a Sahara is somehow a better jeep. Jeeps are made with the different options to get what you want out of it. Do you think I Have I been posting on here to make myself feel better about my X? No way. I would buy the same X I got again tomorrow.

I thought the original purpose of this thread was to show the different options that came on each and the good and the bad of each. If you want the above options and they are worth the extra money to you more power to ya.
