Suncoastcycleparts on eBay usually has them listed, I just looked and couldn't find one. You've got to search his pictures though because the descriptions aren't accurate but the pictures are. Another source you should try is Jeep Parts Depot (jeeppartsdepotca.com), they frequently part out JK's and list parts on eBay. The last place I would check would be DaveysJeeps.com but those guys seem to want to sell only what's on the shelf even though they have all of the parts you need in their yard.

Here we go, I found a couple. The yellow one looks to be in better shape. For a glimpse of what you're getting into look for directions on dropping the windshield. It was something like 40 bolts and 45 mins if I recall correctly.

you’re awesome

would it be best just to remove mine and have it sanded/painted? I was hoping someone sold a aftermarket one that was unused. Mine is fine just rusting. It’s only 5 years. I wonder if it’s aluminum also, but the rust is happing on the hinge itself not close to the body like the others are.

I've had minor rock chips repaired/ painted with mine still on the vehicle. That would probably be my first move before trying to replace it. I haven't seen an aftermarket hinge available and the reality is probably because nobody drops the windshield. They look crazy goofy with it down and it's not much fun over 10-15mph.

Do you have pics of your rust there? Being in Michigan, I'd be half tempted to drop the windshield just to make sure there wasn't any rust forming on the bottom of the windshield frame or top of the cowl panel.
