Would any of this be covered under Chrysler's corrosion warranty?

I didn't know about that. I will look into it..is that set at certain criteria or milage?

sand it off, wipe it down with alcohol, apply paint, avoid driving in salt water, rust problems solved. also rust isnt likely to eat through a jk ladder frame, it just doesnt look pretty, and sanding it off and painting over the rusty spots makes it pretty again

Wire wheel in a drill, knocks of the rust great. Then threw some rustoleam back on till next year.
