Default Rubi's got some balls

It is strange, just passed 800 KM's and suddenly it seems like I've had the engine replaced. This thing actually moves pretty good. Last week I couldn't pass a bicycle.

When both of my JKs passed the 700-800 mile mark, it was like a switch was flipped.

The gas mileage is suppose to get better too as the engine gets broken in.

I dont know about the rest of you (well I do as I read complaints everywhere)
But the 3.8L engine the JK comes with is very good, Im happy with the power it has and LOVE the smoothness.

Personally if I were Jeep I wouldnt change the engine, just fix the issues people are having with everything else

just wait till you hit 10,000 miles or more... mine really came to life around 12K even with the 35s and factory 4.10s now, its no race car, but i wouldn't call it underpowered either. i guess i would say its lacking HP but ok on Torque

Talking sweet

I bought it on July 28th with 15 miles on it, and now I am a day or two away from 10,000... I felt a slight get up around 650 but a very noticable get up around 3,250 with my first oil change

Well, from a different perspective, I wish there was better throttle control but that might not be too far off. Power seems fine. I had a 69 CJ5 with the 225ci engine. (3.8L) I can't wait to try some old haunts for comparison reasons. That old jeep would climb a wall if the durn tires would stick and it was a three speed.

This one is more sophisticated and has some nice features.
