Default Rubi Tires

How long should I expect my Rubi tires to last me? I went to the dealer today and three of the used Rubicons still had their tires but they were almost all used up and they only had 22-30k miles on them. The dealer even told me that all the jeeps were bought there and were all rotated at the dealership as well when they were brought to be serviced.

I just swapped out my stock Rubicon tires at 30k miles and the most worn ones look like they've got at least another 15k miles left on them.

I spoke to a mgr. at a tire store about swapping the tires off my new 2010 with less than 200 miles on them for a mire aggressive pair. I wanted him to buy my tires and I'd pay the difference.

He explained to me that the tires you get on a brand new car are not as good as that same tire if purchased from a store off the shelf. He explained that if you took a tire from a new car and an identical tire off the shelf and ran them the identical milage ... The stock tires would wear out come 20-30k miles and the off the shelf would continue another 20-30k...

So after thinking ya ok..... 20k rolls around and my tires are almost spent... Stock goodyears non rubi models....

I rotated them every other oil change and there still about spent... I guess he was right!!!!! He was not even trying ringer me to buy tires he even said run them and come back when there spent.... Hmmm honesty from a chain.... Weird!

41228 miles on our stock Rubi tires. Still have 7/32 tread on all 5. Hopefully they last until the tax return comes.

With road driving, some highway and moderate off roading 4-8 times per month, you should get 50K out of them. Depends on how you drive em.

i picked up 5 33" toyo a/t's at 5000 kms (3000 miles) on my jeep's odometer, and so because i rotate my spare into the fold i should get alot of use from my tires, so i'm saying is if you buy a good quality tire and use it for on and off roading and make sure you rotate your spare into your normal tire rotation there's no reason you can't get about 80,000 to 95 000 kms (50 000 to 60 000 miles) out of a set of 5 tires. but it all depends , if you go rock crawling all day every day the number will be less obviously, just my 2 cents!
