Default Rubi springs vs X

What's the difference in a set of Rubi springs vs. what is on a X model?

Default springs

I have seen no difference except maybe a part number. I replaced my springs and shocks last year since I got the parts for $100 off of Craigslist. The shocks seem to be stiffer, but no change in the ride height or feel.

Note: this is changing from the stock X equipment to Rubicon; both vehicles were 2-doors

Acutally the Part numbers are different between the Rubicon Springs and the X springs. The rubicon Springs are a about a inch or so taller. I did a swap for a member of our club on his X and it did make a difference in the height of the JK. We swapped 2007 JK Unlimited X springs for 2008 JK Unlimited Rubicon springs.

There is a difference, the rubi springs are stiffer, not sure about longer, and also are rated for a higher load from 5k-6k, whereas the x springs are rated for 4k-5k. The part numbers are:

there are three s/n

front two are
52126316AB drivers side (has half coil more than pass. side but same height)
52126315AB pass side

rear are both

There is a good difference if you put Rubi 4dr shocks and springs on a 2dr. I did that and the rear went up almost 1.5 and the front just over an inch. It was a cheap "lift" until I got the OME. The ride was much better as well.

Thanks just wonderin what the difference was. Sounds like the Rubi springs would work great on an X with a winch!

My X came with Rubi springs on it. Well mine is more like an X'icon anyway.

I came across some rubi springs then shocks because I was going to swap them out with what was on the X. My X still had the tags on the springs, and so did the rubi ones that I got, and the numbers matched exactly. My X also came with the enhanced shocks, but I still plan on putting the rubi shocks on there eventually.
