RPMs and upshifting
#12
3,500 at the least, over 4,000 RPM 1st through 4th.
It's not a diesel, rev it if you want any power.
I'm bouncing off the rev limiter in 4Lo all the time.
4.10 gears,rocktrack trans.

i have a 6 speed and 3.21 gears. (Until Thursday when i get 3.73's)
You are right that 6th gear is fairly ueless unless you are going 75mph. Around town, relaxing, I shift right at 2000-2200rpms and conserve gas. Freeway merging and passing, I can rev up to 4500-5000rpm to get some power. The 3.21 are the softest gears and you really have to sit back and wait when you floor it. Takes a long time for power to build. That issue was non existent when I tried 4.10 gears.
