Rookie Soft Top question

there is nothing that secures it, it may be out just do to not being streched. I only have a soft top, so mine stays streched :-). I would not worry unless you get noise or a leak from there

use the Torx-40 bolt that holds the hard top on over the b-pillar to bolt the plastic frames for the soft top down. i had the same problems as you, i even had leaks at the b-pillar until i did this. the only down side is you have to leave the plastic rails in place when the soft top is down - unless you want to unbolt them every time.
