Is it all the way in gear? I'm not trying to be a smarta$$ but when it is cold out mine tends not to go all the way into reverse sometimes. The best way to tell if it is all the way in gear is after you put it in reverse, continue to push the shifter into reverse while you very slowly let out the clutch (without giving it any gas). As soon as the clutch starts to grab, if it wasn't all the way in gear you will feel the shifter move toward the reverse position even further.

Beyond not going all the way into gear my 6-speed isn't much different at really cold temperatures.

Hope this helps!
