I did a 1.75 spacer over a year ago ,had same troubles,,, so i matched the off set of front & back axles,
(when you lift front goes left ,back goes right) that helped it wandering -bump steer ,, then put longer sway-bar connecting rods
front & rear that made small bumps like driveways so much better . messed with caster but ended up back at stock ..

Thanks all,

I've got some time to mull it over. But I will contact you if I am interested in purchasing your suspension components. If anyonelse wants to sell their suspension components, or possibly a in the shop swap, I'll pay for the shop fees, and give you hand in the installation. Just throw up a PM, or reply to the thread.

to me it sounds like the problem your having is a bad caster angle on your front axle, you could get front lower control arms to compensate and i bet it would fix/mitigate your problem.

i hate to see a fellow soldier suffer. (also currently in Afghan) With that being said, i will take the lift of your hands so that you will no longer have to deal with it. in shop swap sounds great. i won't be at Ft Lewis until late summer though.

seriously though,
stock suspensions are a dime a dozen on CL. 100 buck or less. or even add Rubicon springs
(18/19) and shocks for that price and get a little boost with a stock feel. then you would be able to package your lift and sell it to get some of your money back.
also, a good shop should be able to help you get you what you need to get your lift to ride a bit better.

Jeff. I try to tell people about this all the time. Lots of people say that they can live with a mimimal lift just like yours. I would be in the same boat as you. I couldn't live with what you are experiencing either. But the stearing problem is easily fixed. You just need a couple more parts to make your lift more complete. Your over half way there. I'd hate to see you turn back now.
