So I’m changing the automatic shift cable on my 08 Got the center console out. Got cable unhooked underneath. Got the nuts off the plate cover at the hole where it comes thru the floor. When pulling the cable out from inside the Jeep the large plastic knob on the cable won’t go thru the hole because of the angle it’s coming out at. I can’t change the angle because of the frame which the dash lower pieces attach to. Metal tube at the bottom is in the way.
what do I do?
