Default removing silver trim on stock bumper

I don't really care for the silver trim on my bumpers but I thought it would look nicer all black. Anyways, removing the front silver trim was easy. I'm having problems with the rear tho. Any tips on getting that rear trim off without removing the whole bumper?

Haha I would man, but there's gotta be a way to get this silver trim crap off. Just the small screws to take off. But anyways how much would shipping be to 23233? I have a dent on rear bumper, so if shipping isn't a ton i'd take it.

Your going to need to take off the rear, really it's no big deal just 4 bolts. You might be able to loosen it enough to get them off, but I found I needed to remove it.

Yup got to remove it. It's a one man job since there is not heavy metal in the bumper. I doubt it weighs over 20lbs. Took me 15mins ... Well okay 30mins and two beers.

By the way, how is the removal of the stock rear bumper? Looks pretty simple

Yeah it's very simple a few bolts that are not overly tight. Simple hand tools are more than enough. Then a Phillips for the plastic trim. The jeep looks much better and is cleaner since the silver was starting to stain after the 1k miles I had on the jk.

well...if it truly is 20 lbs....and they only charge by weight not size...ups ground would be $33.22. probably not worth it...but fun to think about. lol
