Rear Window Roll Vertically ?

Haven't in the JK, but rolled the window on my TJ many times.
As long as it is clean on both sides you are OK. For added protection, buy a large microfiber towel or a soft piece of cloth, and put in on top of the window as you roll it up.
Don't worry too much about scratches because you are going to get them no matter what.

Just to clarify, after you are done rolling the window & cloth, the cloth should now be wrapped/sandwiched between the different layers of plastic window. (keeping the plastic from rubbing against itself)

Didn't think of that. I hear vertical and I think "up".
I roll mine on a horizontal plane in an upward direction.
(and then the included straps to snap it up)

Agreed, roll the window UP.
FiveOff, I understood from the original post exactly. Definitely makes sense to keep the plastic from rubbing against itself. My cloverleaf roll does the same thing when I remove my windows and roll them up. Thanks, bro.
