hinge bushings
Gentlemen:
The door bushings are made of a phenolic bushing. If you lube this bushing it will swell. My jeep has the same problem as the jeep dealership lube guys know nothing. If the doors are tuff to remove:
a: open door remove wireing harness and strap
b: open door more than 90 degrees
c: place floor jack with soft wood block inder bottom of door
d: gently put pressure on the bottom door and rock the door back and forth
e: catch door. (this part is important )
f: ream out the bushing with a 7/16 drill bit
