Yup - hard top went back on a few weeks ago. Nice having that wiper back there again. Oil change and fluids done. Will pull out the block heater cord soon too.

Just wondering what's the oil spray for?

Edit: And also are the block heaters expensive for these things

It's a type of undercoating rust prevention.

Don't know about the oil spray, and most of the jeeps up here come with the block heaters, so I wouldn't know if it is expensive or not. At least if you are north of Vancouver, that is.

Oil spray is to protect from the salt.......ask Hook-Em or JaeSuite about the block heater cord

The block heaters are about $50. The expensive part might be the installation. A battery blanket would be a good idea too. They are about $30. I just hooked up both items to a 3 into 1 plug end and ran a single cord out thru the grille. The snow tires will be going on soon. And I have to drain the summer washer fluid and replace it with the winter stuff. I'm in northern Manitoba, Canada. I have a 2011 Sahara Unlimited, 100% stock for now. It is my 3rd Jeep product and I love it.

If yours didn't come with one, a block heater will probably run you a couple of hundred bucks to have one installed. Really, if you're not going to be exposed to -20ēC or colder for extended periods of time (like 24 to 72+ hours sitting), I wouldn't bother. Should probably have anti-freeze checked to make sure it won't freeze at -30ēC or colder though.

They are nice to have below those temps and definitely easier on your engine starting on cold morning.

Edit: If you are going to use a block heater... Make sure you tie the cord around a solid brace under the hood then bring out the cord between the grill and the hood. That way when you forget to unplug it and back away from your spot it won't pull the cord out of the block or rip your grill apart.
