Radio Help

I have a 2011 Sahara with a touch screen radio/dvd player. I am assuming it is tge 430 from other threads I have read, but I'm not sure. I attempted to load some music from Android phone today but once I plugged it into the usb connection point the soft key was not available to select. I do jot have the unconnect module. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or offer any advice. Thanks

IIRC you have to download from a USB from MP3 format and it will not load from a smart phone.

Where can I find instructions to download from a usb or mp3 format. The manual doesn't give me any info on that.
