rad leak?
Been noticing a small ( 3-4" diameter ) circle of coolant on the ground after i park the Jeep overnight.....put a paper towel under it and it is dripping from the left corner bottom drivers side. It appears to collect on the plastic stone guard under the rad. I have not noticed any coolant level change in the overflow and the Jeep operates at the usual temp ( according to the needle temp gauge ). No steam and no smell of coolant burning???? Should i bring it to the dealer under warranty and have them do a pressure test?
Anyone else have this issue?

Sounds like it'd be a good idea to have the dealer look at it. I don't know anything about the coolant system, really, but I figure that you might be able to have a coolant problem without the overflow ever being affected (I am nowhere near a mechanic, so don't think I know what I'm talking about). Just my
Good luck!

If there's evidence of coolant on top of your front diff then that's from the overflow; otherwise it sounds like you have a small seepage somewhere.
When you switch off your motor when fully warmed up, the coolant temperature will rise rapidly along with the pressure in the system for 20 min or so as the waterpump is no longer circulating it through the radiator (ever noticed when you've had the motor of a vehicle off for 10 min or so & you start it back up the temp guage needle will often be up there approaching the red, but then it falls back fairly quickly again as the waterpump does it's job).
If there's any weakness in the system (loose hose clamps, seeping waterpump gasket, cracked radiator header tank) it will tend to leak at this time when the pressure in the system rises for a time.

My '08 Unlimited had a leak, the cap was bleeding off a tiny bit of coolant and running inside the wiring harness conduit. The dealer replaced the cap, no more problems. My only warranty issue in 45,000 miles.
