Questions RE: Mopar Rock Crawler Frt. Bumper & Stock
Just replaced my lifted 2005 LJ with a 2008 JK Wrangler X 4 Dr. This is my third Jeep Wrangler & it is like driving a Cadillac! I want to replace the ugly front factory stock bumper with a MOPAR Rock Crawler Front Winch Bumper w/Tube Grille Guard. It would be the model without the winch mount which I believe is #82210341.
Does anyone know what the actual weight of this bumper is? Also, would like to know the actual weight of the front stock bumper. I've contacted Chrysler & my local dealer for answers and each passes the buck back & forth. Even after market vendors are unsure on the Rock Crawler weight.
I'd like to keep the Jeep as close to level as possible for now without making any mod's.
I'd appreciate any feedback & thanks!

I just swapped mine last week. The stock plastic cover and bumper support combined only weigh about 25 lbs. The Mopar offroad bumper with winch mount is probably about 95 lbs. The non-winch version is probably about the same - no lower winch mount plate but then the top won't be cut out for a winch. If you add the skid plate to protect the sway bar disconnect figure another 30 pounds (it replaces the plastic air dam).

Front Bumper Weights ~ OE Rock Crawler & Stock
Thanks for the input guys! You know how it is hating that front stock bumper and wanting some protection for the grille area. I guess I'll continue searching for that ideal front bumper that looks good and doesn't weigh a TON. Also saw that Olympic has a new front bumper - COBRA, but details are scanty. So, I'm waiting for answers from Chyrsler, LOD, and Olympic. You would think manufacturer's would get wise and include the weights of their products since leveling is an important consideration. Got a feeling I'll be hearing onlyfrom the last referenced mfg'er. Will probably have to call the others. Happy Holidays!
