255/70/18=32.05
275/65/18=32.07
I do not want to compromise safety so no fooling around for me...

I really didn't want to use spacers. My choices were to go all the way (for me anyway) with new wheels and 33x12.50 tires or choose a tire for my stock Sahara 18" wheels. As stated before 275/65/18 size tires are a great choice. Tires with large side bites may harmlessly rub just slightly on the sway bar at full steering lock but overall this is a stock size tire experience. I plan on keeping my JK forever. By the time these tires wear out; my JK will not be my daily driver. At that point it will get new wheels, 35s, and more trail time.

yes, you care correct. I am typically an overly cautious consumer and of course safety for my Baby is important, and trying to convince myself the expense that these tires would run. Shouldn't be much more than most others though...

LOL talk it out or talk me down...by the way by Baby I didn't mean my kids meant my JK! I so hate the stock tires on this thing that now that I am a few months away from having to replace them I want to make sure I buy the right ones. I haven't done a thing to Mod this thing so to me this is a Project lol....you should see me hum and haw over what kind of cereal to buy!
Stay alert I may need convincing again that I can go ahead with the 65's.....

okay bored and need convincing LOL:
so if I understand how this all works. In order to decide if a tire you choose will fit your existing rims, all you need to do is measure the diameter of the tire you are looking at and if it is pretty close to the diamater of the existing one you have on the wheels you should be good to go? Anything else involved that may require the need for spacers?

If I was to poll you guys: I am using these for every day driving only, so should I go with:
Duratracs: try the 275/65/18
BFG: Rugged Terrain T/A- 255/70/18-stock size
I would like to go wider on the BFG's, but again I prefer to not have to add the expense of the spacers....I assume if I go wider I will have to
