Default Putting doors back on

Is there an easier way to put the full doors with power windows back on yourself. The weigh a ton and I struggle to get them back on myself but love to take them off. If you guys have a better way I'd love to hear it.

I haven't taken mine off yet, but do you think a floor jack with with a piece of wood between the door and floor jack would work. ?

Maybe some eyebolts or bike hooks screwed into ceiling joists with ratchet straps?

The easiest way, I find, is to have the windows lowered before removing the doors, this way you have a place to hold the weight from. I will cary the weight with the hand holding from the inside of the window frame, and guide the door with my other hand on the mirror. By adding complexity to the idea of picking up the door and placing it on the hinges, you are increasing your chances for dropped doors or other damage.

They are heavy. Just manhandle them, use some muscle and it's easy.

Well you see, some people don't have much of this thing you call "muscle". Plus, I'm sure the majority of people who take their doors off have a fairly good walk to take them to wherever they store them.

Yeah, you need to lower the windows. I find the easiest way to remove/replace the doors is to stand on the inside side of the door and put my head through the window opening and then stand up carrying the door on the back of my neck. I put a big bath towel around my neck first. This method works really good when you put them back on because your face is looking right down at the hinge pin area and it's easy to see what you're doing.
