Programing Remote Start FOB and Key 2011 JKU
I want to add a FOB key with remote start. The remote part has 4 buttons (Panic, Lock, Unlock and remote start) I currently have 2 working OEM remotes/Keys.
The part number to buy supposedly is 68039414AC. (The one I use is getting a bit old and I worry about losing it's function)
If I get this key cut, can I program everything myself as explained in the owner's manual? Will my in vehicle system program the Chip in the key and the remote part at the same time? Or the remote part must be programmed by the dealer's computer????
Anyone done this and confirm??
