Exclamation Pro Comp Series 7005 17X9 4.75 backspacing

Hey guys/gals I have a question. I just ordered Pro Comp Series 7005 17X9 with a 4.75 backspacing. I will be putting 32" Mickey Thompson MTZ's on. I have a stock 09 2dr.

I am kinda confused about the whole backspacing ordeal. Will these rims be fine for the MTZ's? As well stock 09?

Thanks

Cheers,
Josh

Yeah, for those looking to put on some 33's (such as myself) you need at least 4.5" of backspacing on the wheel for the tire to not rub/bork itself.

Looking at putting some 33x12.50R17 on my JK, and looking for the exact same specs. 17x9 with at least 4.5. I think i finally narrowed it down to what I want :-)

Good luck! They'll do just fine for ya!

Hey dude, Yea this is my purpose for going with the 17x9 with a 4.75 spacing, 33's will be coming next year so instead of ordering new rims and tires I just got the rims for now.

Thanks for the message.

Cheers

Anyone running this setup? I got them on order and when I get them I'm stuck with them. I just hope my 32's fit these. No one in my club is running this setup so I needed to go outside.

Oye, i'm going to stress myself out lol. Being a new jeep owner there is so much to learn lol, it's great but sometimes hectic.

Cheers

EASOUL:

No need to stress. for 33's you need AT LEAST 4.5" of backspacing. Your 4.75 are more than enough, especially with 32's. Also being 17x9 will keep them from getting that kind of "donut" look. Some people like the 8inch rims paired with big tires. I honestly like the look of 17x9 myself. Hope you like them when you get em! My new rims come in a month as a Christmas present to myself.

Cool thanks again!

Once I get them on I will post a before and after picture. Can't wait for that time. My xmas present to myself is the ARB front bumper with bullbar! hehe can't wait for that too. I think those look bada$$.

Cheers
