Well, the engines have hydraulic valve lifters, so, 5500 is probably the max. They do make their horsepower (what there is of it) somewhat higher in the powerband. I think they start to come on about 3 grand and run to about 5-5500. For the most part, I never get mine into the powerband.

what i mean by powerband is what section of RPM do you get the most efficient power. Example: 2000 - 3000 Rpm

I know what you meant and I gave you the answer....although not quite accurate. This however, is:

202 HP SAE @ 5,200 rpm

237 ft lb @ 4,000 rpm

So, since the torque max output is at 4K and the horsepower max output is at 5200, there is your power band. From 4000-5200. Small ain't it?

So would that make it a PowerPoint?

Think the gearing would come into play as well if you have auto or stick for a tranny to be accurate.
On my 6 speed with 3:73 gears you can feel the TQ jump right up @ 1800 rpms and just gets more powerful till about 4500 or so, then it seems to start to make more noise then power so I usualy shift by then.
It does still pull pretty good to redline if you ignore the noise/vibration and the enevitable ruff shift from redline.
