You'll have better luck making a separate, new post about it in this forum or the JK Talk forum.

Anyone have an annoying 2-3 second tick on startup of your 2012?
Mine does the same.... 2-3 seconds then gone

...or just the fact that the oil has settled into your pan and doesn't instantly distribute throughout your engine.

I'd sure hope that 2012 built within the last few weeks would have perfect heads. Surely Chrysler has been aware enough of the problem for months to have corrected it.

If they were still putting in the faulty parts at this plug they'd only be increasing the expense for themselves in the long term when they failed.

Yeah, you'd think so.

However we all know how Chrysler kept fitting, and supplying as spares, faultly throwout bearings and badly designed clutch forks back in the first couple of years of the JK's production run in order to use them all up. They were doing this long after they were made aware of the problems with these and had redesigned the components to address the issue (clutch forks were originally too short to do the job apparantly, causing the substandard-quality T/O bearings to fail early and squeal like Ned Beaty in Deliverence).

So your T/O bearing would fail and would be replaced along with the clutch fork under warranty with another set of bad ones which would then go on to fail again in no time. Some people went through 3 or 4 before they finally got the upgraded parts fitted once the stock of the old ones had been completely exhausted from Chrysler's spare parts store.
