Possible electoral short causing major headache
While working on taillight wiring to tow my Jeep behind a motor home, I think I may have shorted something out. When I went to start my jeep it ran really ruff for a few seconds then died. I haven't been able to get it started since. I also noticed the words "Hot Oil" displayed where the odometer is displayed. The jeep had not been run for hours so the oil was cold.
Any ideas on how bad I messed it up or how to fix it?

Have you put it back together the way it was? Still have the problem?
A little late for you now but a company you can find on this site called 'Cool Tech' sells a flat towing harness you just plug in under the Jeep hood.
