Default Pinion lubrication on JK front D44

Does anyone know how the front pinion bearing on the stock hi-pinion rubi D44 is lubed? Does it just rely on oil flung from the ring gear?

Yes it lubed by the oil flung from the ring gear.there is a passage way and when the Diff. spins it flings oil thru this passage which lubes the pinion bearing.at least this is how it works to the best of my knowledge. If i'm mistaken i'm sure someone else will jump in.

It is lubed this way as you said. There is no pump in there, so there is no other way it can work.
