Just remember, if you want to raise the tire, then you need place the jack under the axle.

The nice thing about the stock jack is that it stores away nicely. Hope you'll keep this thread updated about the outcome...

i always jack lift under the pumpkins. never had a problem that way.

I like the stock scissor jack. It provides plenty of lift to change tires OR get the jeep onto standard jack stands. I've used factory jacks that couldn't put the vehicle they came with on stands...at least not with the wheels on.

Did you buy used? Maybe a PO swapped out the jack because they liked it so much. I had someone do that to me once.

After two complaints in one week, I'll have to check if mine will extend enough to lift a tire.

But, not while it's this freaking cold out.....

Lower down he says he tried it under the axle. I hope I read it right.

I have a 2.5 lift with 33 s on my jeep. Do you think the stock jack would work or should I buy another jack for my jeep
