Not gonna do it. Not ever gonna do it. Not ever gonna even think about doing it. Too much hassle. Wind in the face is what the Roadliner is for...

And this is, IMO, one of the best posts on the board.

I'm not a big fan at all of the front windshield being down. Just looks to wierd. If you had a full roll cage in it, it would be ok. But looks unsafe also.

it is unsafe. you should use common sence if your going to fold it down. i do it when im out light wheeling or on the beach. any aggressve off road you should have a full cage. it's also not something you should do if your worried about leaking or the odd squeaking or extra noises that you didnt have when you got the jeep. i have lots of noises that i didnt have when i got the jeep. but i miss the noise form my old yj's so that just reminds me of my old jeeps. i'm luck that i dont have any leaks at all. i'm very anil about making sure that when i bolt everything back up it goes back where it was from the factory.

most states it's illegal to run on the street with it down. I think. I also noticed from that'09 post thjat they paint the diff. covers now :( . I swapped mine for riddlers, but the originals are rusty.
