Update:

So last I heard late afternoon yesterday, the service advisor said there is definately a problem (hello!) and they are doing the ole compression and leak down tests. I have yet to hear from them today but im assuming theyll have to replace the head, maybe a day or two I guess. Stay tuned!

Called dealership and spoke with service advisor; the head is being replaced, they have parts in stock and will be ready today or tomorrow.

Picked up the Jeep late last night and work was complete. Jeep seems to run fine and noticably quieter valve train on left side. The 150k/10 year extended warranty on left cylinder head is prorated from date of vehicle purchase, so i have another 100K miles/ 6 years of warranty on the new head. My build date was August/2011 and i purchased it it Oct/2011. The new head has date code of 1575B just above the exhaust pipe on left side, which is June 6/2015 if this is actually the proper date code info, not totally sure about that.

Default Sounds like you have a good dealer there

without giving you the run around on it and that was done quickly .
sounding quiet would be nice as to getting out and hearing chik chik chik when its in idle, mines not very loud but still makes me wonder if or when it might go . oh well i learned to ignore it if it aint broke, other than that seems pretty dependable over all .

Here's a pic of my service ticket with parts used, the new head ends with -AC. Also got a free oil change and filter which I was due for anyway, plus some new coolant.

Does anyone have any information on who I can call or get into contact with to get information about this? I have a 2012 jku with 108000 miles. Replacing the left cylinder head now because it keeps throwing code. I tried calling Chrysler and pentastar and said this was not a thing. Located in US, Iowa.

I no longer have my letter as I left that in the 2012 when I traded it in. Some good information here: https://www.pentastars.com/engines/repairs.php
