Detinaterunlimited, What is the part number cast on the back of your drivers side head. Look at my photo above for an example.
Also, whats the build date of your JK?

And this one on the same side down by the starter. Still haven't found an AA or AB on the head and neither stamped on the block have a S or a T
Here's mine, drivers side---couldn't help but notice your first line ends with an "A", mine end with a "B". Hmmmmmmmm........

I'm not sure if the A/B thing in relation to the head makes any sense -- AFAIK, the new head didn't exist in March 2012 (someone with a B head's build date, right?).

And if they have the new head, then I would think the odds of me having it would be at least equal, since I'm a May 31, 2012 build with a later inspection date (3/31/12).

Anyone have any idea what that number on the driver's side exhaust manifold represents?

I'll have to crawl under and see if I can find the head number that everyone's talking about. But not tonight -- kids are in bed and it's beer o'clock.

Keep in mind, my head with the B is a new one just replaced in August. And from what I understand the exhaust manifold IS part of the head.

Didn't realize that you had a head replaced, but I'm still questioning what this number is, because the head part number is on the back of the head, or so we're told.
