Penstar recall

I always try to not get anything new the first year it comes out. Let the other people have the problems. My c-phone provider even told me that when I was looking at 4G. I was told to wait at least 6 months, because there's always problems. This engine reminds me of the song "Little red rented rowboat."

My 2013 seems to have the same numbers on the back of the heads, they're really hard to read. Its not even sure if the part number on the back of the head is different on the revision. It seems the was a change around 7/1/2012 according to allpar. There is a hand written date on the front of the block behind the crank pulley. Any date after July 1st would seem to be good to go. There is a 2-4 month lag on the engine date versus the vehicle build date, hence mine is a may build.

Note that I'm not arguing with you -- I'm just asking for your source of information because I'm curious to find out more about the Pentastar in the Wrangler and whatever you're reading obviously has more information than I've been able to locate myself.
What are the differences in the Wrangler head from that of the heads on Pentastars in other models? Are there different part numbers for the replacement heads on other models aside from the Wrangler?
