Passenger airbag sensors

Passenger airbag sensors
Does anyone know if there is a way of removing all of the sensors and wiring under the passenger seat and replacing them with a keyable switch or something like that. I didn't think I'd care bt whenever I want to do something in the Jeep it seems like all the clutter under the passenger seat causes a problem. e.g:
1) removing the carpet to dry things out
2) Fitting seat covers
3) Line-x ing the tub
The original passenger airbags in cars* had a key switch on the dash and I'd really like to be able to convert my Jeep to do that. I don't mind paying to have it done by someone who can certify the work - the thing I want to avoid is voiding my insurance - but wondered if anyone here had any advise on how to go about that (if it's even possible)
P.S. * Just want to clarify that I wasn't calling my Jeep a car, just noting that some cars have a system that I would like to have in my Jeep [I'm a cat lover]

No.
Even if you were able to key a switch, you still need a relay going to the seat to set the airbag off. If you just zip tie the wires up out of the way it will give you less of a hassle.
Really, they just unplug.
