rc007 how does the Black Forest Green look? Can't find any in my area to look at. I'm going with the soft top. We live just south of New Orleans and don't get much of a winter. Just wondering how the leather will hold up over time. We got the leather option in my wife's 2006 Ford Fusion and now regret it. It didn't hold up very well. I think I may go with the Flame Red. My current 07 is Flame Red and it has held up well.

black forest green is a very accurate name for the color. It is black until the light is just right, then you see some green. I was considering waiting for that color when they told me natural green had already been shut off. It is a nice color but i am glad i did not wait, it is just too black for me. My choice was white, flame red, or crush. Glad i did not get the crush too. That color should have been called "you can see me coming in the dark orange"

It was either Crush or Black Forest green for me. I think there are plenty of Crush around where i live along with the standard white/Red/Black/Silver jeeps. I love my Green color because I think it is unique in a sense. You will notice how the front of the jeep looks black in shadow and the rear shows the green.

Here is a picture of the deep cherry red to keep you interested in you original color choice. I do like that green forest though. The leather in the JK just seems more durable than the softer leather in other vehicles leather so it seems like its going to hold up well.

Thanks for the input. I ordered this past Saturday with every option except engine heater, tow package, leather and dual top. She will be Flame red with black/dark saddle interior. Now the waiting game begins. Dealer said 6 to 8 weeks. Can't wait.
