Oil change
I cannot for the life of me understand the oil change intervals on my 08 jeep.
I bought my jeep new. It had 50 km. My first oil change was at 4600 km or so because the chime on the dash told me so. So I got it changed. At 8500 or so km it alerts me to change it again. What't up with this. I looked at the oil and its a gold color so not that dirty. I also looked at the owners maint manuel and it recomends oil change intervals every 10,000 km.

I think in miles, and the conversion is difficult for me. 4600km is approx 2800 miles, which is where everyone's first change is (2500 miles) after that it's supposed to be based on how hard you drive it and the computer decides that.
