Default Oil change

I just got my jk a few months ago and it's time for an oil change. Just looking for some suggestions on oil filters and oil. I was reading the previous thread and I am thinking of goin with Royal Purple 10W-30, I live in central Florida and it can get pretty hot down here so that why I was thinking of using the heavier weight. In my previous vehicles I used KN oil Filters and never had any problems would this be a good choice.

K&N filters are made by Fram so your good there, as for oil you can't go wrong with synthetic oils.

Personally, I have used Mobil 1 synthetic 5w25 and had no issues. It seems to work well, and I just went with the Mopar filter.

Do you get the filter only from the dealer?
