Default OEM jack stoarge

Hello all,

I picked up an 08 JK X a couple of weeks ago. The scissor jack, lug wrench, and extension rods (in vinyl case) were thrown in the covered back storage compartment. I'm assuming that the jack is supposed to be stowed in the open storage area that is just behind the covered compartment. Could some please post a picture showing how it is supposed to be stowed?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

Oh yeah, I did a search but didn't find anything.

All of those components fit neatly in the un carpeted space between the storage compartment and the tailgate.

Got it. Thanks! I imagine that it would be rattling around like crazy if it wasn't extended.

Maybe THATS why mine always rattles. Sometimes around a sharp curve it goes THUNK.

Anybody stuff a bottle jack in there?

I'm thinking about swapping mine out for one.
