Working on building my bumper and went by the hardware store last night to get some bolts for the factory receiver location. I read on here they were 9/16" and that seems correct for the two marked in the pic below. The other are smaller and one is even oval shaped. I grabbed some 3/8" bolts to use in the other two, but wanted to make sure that is right. Any info on this would be appreciated!

 

Are those the holes for the factory hitch mount?

Those are the 4 holes for the hitch mount. Pic of hitch for reference.

 

I'm pretty sure they're metric. M8 x110 maybe? I know the length is 110mm

 

Well if the factory hitch has the same bolts in every hole, then they do not fit tight in the holes. A 9/16" is a big bolt. Guess I wont have to worry about those breaking!

 

I recall there was some play. Too difficult to mass produce with precise holes and expect things to line up every time. Those are the holes though. If you like, I can snap a pic of my cross member I cut off, just for fair measure.....
