Default New type of tire question

Hola fellow Jeepers!

Here's a question I've not seen. Every once in a while after a beach run or scuba trip I actually decide to wash my jeep. Tires get cleaned as well. I don't want to out on the high gloss tire shine products as they'd look silly in my opinion on my Duratracs.

But I do want to protect them from uv light. Is there a good product that provides protection and a matte finish or satin low sheen finish?

Thanks

FD

Chemical Guys trim gel is supposed to leave a satin finish on tires and protect it from UV. Never used it personally but have heard good things

We sell it at Napa Auto Parts. I use it on all my black trim and it works great! I haven't found anything better.

Modern tires have a pretty complex formulation that includes anti-UV and anti-ozonation components. The heat and flexing generated by using the tires replenishes the protectants presence on the surfaces. Another good reason to rotate in your spare.

303 is good stuff. I use it a couple times per season on my soft top and door seals. Never thought to put it on tires.

I use 302 all over, never on tires. Will give it a go. A few sprays and I'll be good. Easy to apply with knobby sidewalls as well.

Thanks
