new rubicon

Hell I thought the Rubi 4 door drove pretty well, like a slot racer compared to my TJ. I thought the 4 doors were a little less flighty than the 2 door but they were both great.
If you want to have to really pay attention just wait until you put on the big tires and a lift.

I test drove 2 other Rubicons before I bought the one I now own. The others wadndered worse than my first wife, felt like shooting them too! (just kidding). This one doesn't wander at all. Mine has BFG MT's, the other two from a different dealer , had Goodyear Wranglers, probably the shittiest tire ever made. I blame the wander on that.

My Rubicon seemed really squirrely to me when I first got it. All I had to do to change lanes was think about it or sneeze. I dont have the problem anymore, though. I dont know if it is because the tread has worn down or if I am just used to it.

Tire pressure is what I would check. For what ever reason, they like to fill the tires up to the tires maximum rated pressure, which is WAY to high for a vehicle of thise weight.
As for the Goodyear MTR's that somebody mentioned above, the MTR is far from being a "shitty" tire. Driven with them on a lot of vehicles, all of them drove fine so long as the tires were properly inflated.

It's not a bad idea to check the tire pressure just in case.
But I was used to driving a cadillac so hopping into my Rubi was a bit of an experience. It definitely wiggles and sways MUCH more than the cadillac but it makes sense with the treads and surface area for crosswinds to play with. I've had it for a little over a month now and you get used to it. I don't even notice it now. I think you'll be fine.

What is the recommended tire pressure?
I got a 08 Rubi for the wife and she has not mentioned anything about the Jeep being darty. On the contrary - she loves the ride.
Just finally started to cool down here in Yuma - great. Here is the bad part to it, the TPM light started to go off. After reading a couple of the threads here I assume my vehicle will need to be flashed at the dealer.
But, the question is...
What is the optimal/prefered tire pressure for the stock BF Muds for this size vehicle - seems I have to air them upto about 37 just to get the indicator light to go off.
Thx.
