Default new rubicon

i test drove a new rubicon unlimited and it seem you to have to pay attention to keep it in your lane. was wondering if that the way they are or they had filled the tires with nitrogen and no telling what pressure was in them. maybe to high. and seemed small on driver side by door. maybe just used to driving truck. thanks

The tire pressure would be the first thing I would check. I just had mine realigned after lifting and the shop said the camber was off a little. I only had 2400 miles on it and they said that they have seen the camber off from the factory before. I cannot tell mine is off by driving, it drives well and does not pull.

you get use to that. i think it is the depth of the tread that causes the sway. i dont think an X or Sahara with street tires has that much of a sway problem.

Test drove both 2 and 4 door and they are both a little darty. I bought the 2 dr. Rubicon and the darty feeling is easy to get used to. Feels perfectly fine now.

Agreed, jsut traded my Sahara on my New Rubicon. I noticed that too. I think it is the tread of the tires.

Yeah they are a bit flighty. Because of the extra length of the 4door, crosswinds can be 'interesting' sometimes. That said, I'm usually paying more attention to my hood lift...

The more you drive, the easier it gets. The Rubi just won't let you get bored.
