I have an '07, so can attest to the oil-powered flux capacitor. It's between the firewall and the engine so most people don't know it's there. The time travel aspect of my jeep is really handy.

If you are asking about the new Pentistar engine the Wrangle has not been equipped with it yet, we can just derma about the flux capacitor and the Pentistar engines.

If I were you I'd go back to the 70's or early 80's & swap the silly 3.8L V6 for the AMC 304ci V8 from a shiny new CJ. I'm sure it would be no prob to find a CJ owner who would jump at the chance to have a "futuristic" JK motor.

I traded my MyGig for a Flux Capacitor. I am disappointed though, my Superchips doesn't have a Plutonium 239 tune. Waiting on an update.

I ended up getting the special edition 2008 rubicon, with the platinum plated flux capacitor, that ran off plutonium and you can travel through time with the doors off and top off, it was something in the design that the doc perfected

The good thing about the flux capacitor option is when they void your warrantee for adding gull wing doors, you just go back in time..... It really pisses off the service managers!!!!

You can solve this problem easily with this Engine Oil Bypass Kit
