Need help with a wheel and tire purchase
I have a stock 2008 jeep wrangler , with the stock 225/70r/16 wheels. I have a chance to get 4 jeep wheels and tires off of a 2007 jeep Sahara with 225 /70r /18 on them. The have 15,000 miles on the bridgestone Dueler A/T tires have the 5 on 5 lug pattern for 500.00. Is this a good deal? and will the fit my 2008 jeep? Thanks for any help you can give!

that is a little high at $500
the 18'' tires are very pricey to replace
$500 for the 17s is about average with less than 5000 miles on them.
yes those wheels will fit your jeep
Do you have TPMS does the sahara wheels 07 may not.

I also think the price is a bit high considering the mileage, and the fact that you're only getting four (not five), but I haven't been watching the used wheel market much lately. They will bolt on no problem, you will need to look into the TPMS if you have it.

Don't know that it will help, but I just sold my (5) 17" Moabs (23s Package off of an X) and Goodyear Wrangler AT's for $400. They only had about 1200 miles on them. One of the tires had a nail in it.

you will have the Tmps in your 08 but the 07 will not have the sensors in the wheels so if you go this route your dash light for them will remain on and you will get a few extra dings when you start your Jeep up.
