Default Nav software upgrade

I just got the nav software upgrade in the mail. It costs 199. to install on the my-gig nav system. Has anyone done this do you know what you get for 199. It seems very pricey to me. I alos seem to have a problem with the memory on the thing. It keeps dropping all my music. like it looses 600 songs. any thoughts on that . I also want o go hands free for the uconnect but i have an 08 and it won't allow it anyone know a cheap way around this?

We got the CD too. 199 is too expensive to me, but your "miles may vary" as they say... especially since I have no way of knowing what they updated. I tried to get them to correct Marrestop road from Marristop (you can do this on its website), but I am not going to pay 199 for one road correction anyway.

As for your other questions:
http://mofv.com/mygig/
and
http://www.coastaletech.com/MYGIG.htm
will probably get you everything you need. If you update to the newest software, it should fix your missing song situation. We bought ours in early 08 and there was a ton of bugs in the mygig radio software. Updating it made a huge difference.

I do not remember the exact key combination, but search these boards (or the mygig website above) and you can find the key combination that gets you into the mygig system menu. Be careful in there, there is a bunch of different things you can do. Turning on the uConnect is just one of them. You can get a mic from the coastaltech website for pretty cheap - you may want to scour the sponsor sites first.
