with 34 inch tires and 4.10s should i be driving with od off? it seems to hold overdrive just fine at hwy speeds?

I just had what sounds like the same thing with my 2007 rubi, 49k miles, only thing it has ever towed is kids on tubes or toboggans. No warning, just grind, grab, stop. Waiting for the dealer to fix it now. Pretty disappointing, but as long as it's fixed correctly, I guess I'll still love Jeeps. It's my sixth Jeep, and my first mechanical 'problem'.

Snow coming tonight and my Jeep isn't here. :(
