I turned the key and nothing happen all the lights and radio cut on but no clicking or turning of the motor, I even tried to jump it and nothing happen this is my second battery in 6 months im using a optima red top. Can somebody give me a hint where to troubleshoot the problem any help will be appreciated.

It sounds like it could be a short. Any mods that would be draining the battery after you shut it down?

If your alternator isn't working right, it will kill a battery.

I was thinking the same thing or my starter is locked up man this sucks

If yours is an AT, try wiggling the shifter around while trying to start it. As strange as it may sound, mine did this a couple times.

I'm on my 2nd battery and my rig is only 11 months from build date. Recently picked it up from the service department and they told my that my alternator was in tip top shape. They did however give me a new battery free of charge.

u can try unplugging and reconnecting the wireless control module under steering column.. u can see it through the space under the column.. its close to wear the key goes into ign

dealer told me this trick awhile ago.
that module is for the chipped key and the security.. i would unplug it,.. wait then re plug it in and try it.
