Painted mine with the high-temp stuff from Home Depot 11 months ago, and it still looks like it did the day I painted it (except when it's dirty ). If you do it right, it only takes about 30min start to finish, only costs a few bucks, and seems to last a LONG time.

I just happen to have a can of flat black hi-temp BBQ paint in the garage. As soon as it stops raining I think I'll spray mine.

In response to the guys talking about warranty coverage - I believe the anti-corrosion warranty is for body panels and only if it rusts through (perforation). I don't believe the muffler is covered but if it is you would have to have a rust HOLE to be covered.

I've got half a can from cleaning up a grill. Was about to spray it when I noticed it was gloss black. Can't decide whether to use it or grab another can next time I'm at the store (& remember).

I did mine a couple weeks back. I used Dupli-color Semi-gloss engine paint. Very easy to do. Took about 20 min.

Flat black barbecue paint works great. Touch up when needed.

Hey, did mine with some left over silver ceramic exhaust paint, looks good being a silver jeep. Hopefully will slow down any future rust buldup. Anyone else out there try silver on a silver jeep?
