MPG Question
Anyone know if there is a way to show real time mpg info. The reason I ask is when I reset there is an option for reset all. Fyi I have an 11 JKU Sahara with the communication package.

I would like to know that as well. I am pretty sure I can do it with my superchips programmer, but a way to do it with the stock computer would be nice.

One of the guys here a while back had a malfunctioning display that only showed instantanious MPG, not averaged over time as it's supposed to do. Apart from this type of malfunction, I don't think it's doable through normal operation of the controls.

I wish i was sitting that low but with my 6speed,4.88s, and 35s im running at 2800 or so rpms at 70mph it kills me so i drive pretty much 60mph everywhere i go but doing that i get about 17.5 and 18 mpg.
I have pretty much come to the conclusion that i need 37's and that will bring my rpms down and it will still be great on highway and off road

Is it the "Aeroforce" gauge that plugs into your OBDII and is able to monitor a number of engine parameters? I am not sure if it works on 11's - but that could be one option to look into. I am almost certain people were using it to show instant MPG.

You are correct, the Aeroforce Intercepter guage does show that parameter in real time. I use it occasionally, but it gets annoying to look at it because it fluctuates an insane amount. Any tiny amount of grade change, any headwind, pedal input, etc. has huge effect on the mpg's reading since it measures down to one or two decimal places, and it gets nauseating to look at.
