I know people are are very passionate about their oil brands. Me, not so much. I happened to get some Motorcraft Synthetic Blend from a friend and wondered if it wil suffice until the next oil change. Will it being made for Fords really have any impact?

I bought the JK used and I have no warranty issues. Up until recently, I didn't have a garage so for the past year it got the base Conoco Phillips synthetic blend at jiffy.

I have used Motorcraft 5w-20 full synthetic since the first oil change and now have 47000 miles. I can get the full synthetic for cheaper than Mobil One
